The Baltica Range

The Baltica range of Scandinavian Homes is a very popular range of smaller dwellings with typical footprints ranging from around 60m2 to around 100m2. The external width is typically 7.922m, the internal width around 7.3m (depending on wall construction). The standard roof pitch is 30° if there are no rooms in the roof, increasing to 45° in case rooms are installed in the roof space. Like all Scandinavian Homes the Baltica range is available in legths of multiples of 1.2m + 0.422m (external measurements).
The picture shows a top of the range Baltica 99 with rooms in the roof ready for external cladding and roofing.
Equipped with an increased roof pitch the Baltica type of house has proportions in harmony with older traditional houses. It is therefore a good choice for locations where an indigenous shape is suitable. As with all houses it can be built with a timber cladding or with modern silicate plaster on a fibre-silicate board.
The Baltica houses are suitable as dwellings for small families of two to three persons, according to European guidelines recommending a dwelling area of at least 35m2 for each inhabitant. They are also very suitable as extensions to the larger Nordica and Hibernia houses.
